I'm Mama Lucia. I was born in Guadalajara and grew up in South Texas, in a house where nothing was wasted and almost everything was made by hand. My mother and grandmother cleaned with vinegar, lemon, and baking soda, cooked from scratch, and never trusted the packaged stuff on store shelves.
